Douwe Bob will represent The Netherlands at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest with the song ‘Slow Down’.
The Common Linnets, and Chef’Special are nominated for a 3FM Award. Also ‘Sweet Sunshine’ by Douwe Bob (co-written by Pennies From Heaven writers Matthijs van Duijvenbode and JP Hoekstra) received a nomination for best single. ‘II’ by the Common Linnets is nominated for best album. Chef’Special is nominated for best band.
‘Aosem’, the new album by Daniël Lohues, was officially released on Friday 26 February. The album consists of 14 songs and is available for on CD, iTunes and Spotify.
Our writer Will Knox will present his upcoming album ‘The River Ink’ in Paradiso on the 16th of March. A few weeks ago the singer-songwriter released his solo single ‘Riverside’, accomponied by a videoclip. Tickets for the albumrelease in Paradiso are still available. Get them here!

It took a while, but finally the release of Christon’s soloalbum is coming closer! This morning he released his first single ‘S.O.S. Warning’ accompanied by a great video. The single is a beautiful precursor of the upcoming album ‘Towns&Cities’, which will be released soon.
Christon is a multi-instrumentalist who uses a self-built loopstation which connects all his instruments together. Go check it out yourself.
The Common Linnets will release their second album called ‘II’ in the United Kingdom by DECCA Records. From the 18th of March ‘II’ will be available throughout the UK. As of now it’s already available for pre-order from Amazon and iTunes.
