BART VAN LIEMT JOINS PENNIES FROM HEAVEN

Pennies From Heaven announced today that Bart van Liemt has joined the company. Van Liemt knows the music industry from an inside-out perspective; as singer and composer of The Sheer, Bade, and Baskerville, he performed at renowned music festivals such as Lowlands, Sziget, and Pinkpop, while he also made a name for himself as a music producer during the two years he worked on various (international) projects at Amp.Amsterdam. 

At Pennies From Heaven and music agency The Missing Sync, Van Liemt will be responsible for retaining and expanding the client base in the international ad, film and TV industry, and will be connecting bands and brands together with creative manager Aron van der Ploeg. 

“I’ve had a strong relationship with this company for many years,” Van Liemt says: “Since I first worked together with Pennies From Heaven as an artist, some 15 years ago, we’ve always stayed in touch. Joining the Pennies team at this point in my career feels like coming home.” 

Wim Kwakman, general manager at Pennies From Heaven, says that Van Liemt is a perfect fit for the company. “In his role as a musician and composer, we have previously worked together with Bart in creating very strong (advertising) music. We know he has the skills and knowledge it takes. His expertise on synchronisations and bespoke music will not just bring our publishing companies Pennies From Heaven and The Missing Sync to a higher level, it will also benefit our composers and (sub)publishing partners worldwide.” When looking back at how Van Liemt first connected to Pennies From Heaven as a young musician, Kwakman comments: “The circle is now complete.”
