Blaudzun makes official Grand Départ song ‘Bon Voyage!’

The official song of the Grand Départ is called ‘Bon Voyage!’ and was made by Dutch singer-songwriter Blaudzun. Creating the song combined his love for music, cycling, and the city of Utrecht in a unique way.

The accompanying short animation movie was produced by Job, Joris & Marieke, a Utrecht-based design studio for animation, illustrations and character design.

During the presentation of the stages of the Tour de France 2015 in Paris earlier today, Jan van Zanen, Mayor of Utrecht which hosts the Grand Départ, launched the official Grand Départ title song and animation ‘Bon Voyage!’ made especially for the occasion.
