Blaudzun writes title song for Le Tour Utrecht

Next year, on Saturday 4 July 2015, Utrecht will host ‘Le Grand Départ’ of the Tour de France.

Dutch singer-songerwriter Blaudzun has the honor of writing the official ‘Le Tour Utrecht’ song in which his feeling for music, cycling and the city will come together.

The song will be presented on 22 October 2014 in Paris, together with a short movie about the city of Utrecht.

Blaudzun, real name Johannes Sigmond, presented his new album ‘Promises Of No Man’s Land’ earlier this year. The album reached the top spot in the Album Top 100 and was released in multiple European countries.

Blaudzun has a strong love for cycling. In June he and his brother were a guest at Belkin, during a training session in the Sierra Nevada.

In November 2014 Blaudzun will start with a new Dutch clubtour. Tickets are available through Blaudzun.com
