Coen ter Wolbeek re-elected as member of the board of Buma Cultuur

On behalf of the NMUV (Dutch Publishers Association) Coen ter Wolbeek was re-elected as member of the board of Buma Cultuur on Wednesday June 15. The election took place during the general meeting of Buma/Stemra members which was held in Amsterdam.

Buma Cultuur

Buma Cultuur is dedicated to music from The Netherlands. Buma Cultuur supports and promotes Dutch music copyright in both The Netherlands and key export markets for Dutch music. The aim is to increase the percentage of Dutch music in the Dutch market and foreign markets.

Buma Cultuur was founded by the Dutch collecting society Buma. Buma/Stemra is the collection society for music authors in The Netherlands and represents the interests of its members worldwide. Besides collection and payment of remunerations to music authors, Buma/Stemra stimulates and supports the development of new talent.

NMUV

The NMUV (Nederlandse Muziek Uitgevers Vereniging) is the Dutch Music Publishers Association. It was founded in 1992 for all publishers of contemporary music.

Both independent (local) publishing companies and major publishing companies are affiliated with the NMUV.
