The Common Linnets winner of popprijs 2014

The Common Linnets have won the Popprijs 2014.

The Common Linnets received the most prestigious award in Dutch pop music on Saturday 17 January during the Noorderslag festival in Groningen.

The album by The Common Linnets spent numerous weeks at the top spot of the Dutch Album chart and has made waves around Europe and the world.

Daniël Lohues co-wrote a number of songs on the album, as did JB Meijers who also produced the album.
