Gold Award for The Common Linnets

Congratulations to The Common Linnets who received a Gold Award on Monday Night for their debut album. Daniël Lohues co-wrote a number of songs on the album, as did JB Meijers who also produced the album.

Ilse DeLange and Waylon represented The Netherlands at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest with their song ‘Calm After The Storm’. They ended second and reached the best result for The Netherlands since 1975.

On iTunes the song reached the number 1 position in many European countries. In the UK, Germany and Spain the song reached the top 10. Download the song on iTunes.
