Two nominations for The Common Linnets at German Echo Awards

The Common Linnets are nominated for two Echo Awards in Germany. The band is nominated for Best International Newcomer and Best International Pop/Rock band.

The Music prizes will be handed out during an award ceremony on the 26th of March in Berlin.

The Echo Awards are the German equivalent of the Grammy Awards and the BRIT Awards. The Common Linnets are nominated alongside U2, Pink Floyd and Coldplay. For ‘Best International Newcomer’ the band is nominated alongside Lorde, Kiesza and Sam Smith.

The Common Linnets received a Gold Award in Germany for their album ‘The Common Linnets’. The single ‘Calm After The Storm’ also reached Gold status.
